Thank you for joining/enquiring about the Korumburra Motorcycle Club. We hold a general meeting on the last Tuesday night of every month (except December) at 7.30pm at the Austral Hotel, Bridge Street Korumburra.-upstairs entry via bistro. Everyone is welcome to attend.
LOCATION KMCC is affiliated with Motorcycling Victoria (MV) and regularly hold club days as well as practice days, which all members are welcome to attend. You must be a current member of the club to be able to ride at the track. Our practice days and club days are covered by a MV permit and we have St Johns first aid on hand. Our practice days are generally on the last Sunday of the month however this may not always apply-depending on other race meetings. KMCC has a track information hotline that is updated regularly which you can call for details of upcoming events. TRACK INFO HOTLINE 0409 430 568 An updated newsletter also gets mailed out to all current members every two months, and we also have a website www.korumburramotorcycleclub.com.au LICENCES AND FEES AND COSTS. The cost for a yearly membership is $120 for a family and $100 for a single. MV competition licenses are $270 Senior and $240 Junior for 12 months. These cover all practice and club days as well as competition racing and need to be applied for through MV (see a committee member for a signed & stamped form). To ride practice days the minimum required is a Recreation Licence –$15 for a day or $85.50 for 12 months. This is only valid for practice days not club days or race days. Our practice days have a $25 entry fee -$10 MV levy and $15 goes towards Permit and St Johns. Any members that attend a scheduled working bee are given a FREE PASS to use at a practice day; however the $10 MV levy still applies. Sign in for practice days is from 9am practice is from 9.30-3.30pm. The canteen is open. Timed sessions are split into Seniors and Juniors. It is expected that all members help out on these days- flagging, watering, canteen duty etc. All riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the track. Previous years we have held our club days in conjunction with the Maffra-Sale and Bairnsdale clubs which has been very successful so we may look at doing the same this year. Each club held a round at their track, giving members a chance to ride different tracks; however this is yet to be confirmed. FURTHER INFORMATION. If you require any further information you can contact Barry and Pam Svenson 03 56623987 SEE YOU AT THE RACES.
